Key Project

  • Bible Databases (Deployed to translation-ambiguity-project.netlify.app)
    • Highlight of a recent project relevant to Bible translation technology and web development.
    • This project utilizes natural language processing to compare the semantic similarity of Bible verses across different translations. By generating embeddings for each verse and computing their cosine similarity, it provides a quantitative measure of the translation variance in the Bible. Quantifying this variance is a proxy measure for the ambiguity of the original Greek and Hebrew that can help inform AI-driven translation at Clear Bible and elsewhere (all data is open sourced).
    • View the codebase on Github.
